Frontier Power Window Failure

Hey, I'm having an annoying problem with my 2019 Nissan Frontier diesel. My power windows just stopped working! None of them will go up or down. I checked the fuses, and they seem fine. The error memory has stored an error too. Any ideas what could be wrong? I’m not super car savvy.

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Nissan Frontier diesel experienced a complete power window failure, with none of the windows operating. The fuses were checked and found to be fine, but an error was stored in the vehicle's memory. The issue was likely due to a defective power window switch, as suggested by the error code. The problem was resolved by replacing the faulty switch, which was confirmed by a professional diagnosis at a local garage.

The symptoms you describe, in conjunction with the stored error, strongly suggest an electrical fault within the window regulator system. Before proceeding, have you noticed any other electrical anomalies in the vehicle? For instance, flickering lights or issues with other electronically controlled features?

Thanks for the quick reply! No, all the other electrics seem to be working perfectly fine. It's just the windows. What exactly does a window regulator do? Could it be something simple, or am I looking at a bigger issue?

The window regulator is the mechanism that physically moves the window glass up and down. The error code points towards a defective power window switch being the most likely culprit, though a full diagnosis would be needed to confirm. Considering your vehicle's mileage (131250 km) and the age, wear and tear could certainly be a factor. I would advise seeking professional assistance from a qualified workshop. This will ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate repair.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on – it was a faulty power window switch. The repair cost me about 200€, which isn't too bad, all things considered. Really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction!
