I haven't checked the thermal sensor yet. Any tips on how to test it or where it's located? I'll post the exact error code later today.

I don't have specific instructions for your Frontier, and I'm not sure where the thermal sensor is on your model. With my Volvo, it was easiest to bring it to a trusted workshop. Given the error code and lack of heat, it does sound like a faulty heating mat. Might be best to have a professional diagnose it to be sure.

Based on your experience, I'm taking it to a workshop for a diagnosis. The estimated repair cost is about 390€.

Sounds familiar, I had a similar problem with my old Volvo years ago. The heating element in the seat failed. Have you checked the thermal sensor? It could be sending bad readings and preventing the heating element from working. What does the error code say?
