Thanks for sharing your experience! That's really helpful to know. Do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the repair? Also, has everything been working smoothly since then, or have you noticed any other washer system issues pop up? I'm trying to get an idea of what I might be looking at cost-wise and whether this fix tends to last. Thanks!

Hey there! Happy to give you an update. The repair cost me 155€ at my trusted mechanic's shop, which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the hassle of dealing with frozen nozzles. And I've got great news since getting it fixed last winter, my QX60's washer system has been working like a charm! Not a single issue with frozen nozzles anymore. The mechanic sorted out that faulty cable connection, and honestly, it was money well spent. I can actually use my washers in cold weather now without any problems makes such a difference for winter driving. You know how important clear visibility is during those messy winter months! If you're still wondering about getting yours fixed, I'd say go for it. The repair has definitely proven to be a lasting solution for my car, and having properly working washer nozzles makes winter driving so much safer. Let me know if you need any other info!

Just got back from the mechanic, and I wanted to update you! Thanks so much for your advice it really helped me make the decision to get it fixed. My repair ended up costing about 180€, a bit more than yours but still reasonable. They found the same issue with the wiring harness. The funny thing is, when I got there, the mechanic immediately knew what I was talking about before I even finished explaining! He said he's fixed quite a few Infinitis with the same problem. The repair took about two hours, and I actually watched him test everything thoroughly before giving me the keys back. I've already tested the washers a few times since getting it back yesterday, and they're working perfectly no more frozen nozzles! Really relieved I got this sorted before the weather gets worse. Thanks again for sharing your experience it definitely helped me avoid getting ripped off and find a good solution!

I had a similar issue with my 2015 Infiniti QX60 last winter at 220K km. The washer nozzle heater system failed, causing frozen nozzles during cold weather. My regular mechanic diagnosed it as a cable connection defective issue turns out the wiring harness to the heating elements was damaged. I've been going to this shop for years, and they fixed it by replacing the wiring harness and testing all connections. Not a major repair, but definitely needed addressing before winter. They also checked the entire washer system while at it. Been working perfectly since then. It's worth getting it fixed driving without working washer nozzles in winter isn't safe. Find a mechanic who specializes in Infinitis if you can.
