A 2016 CR-V diesel owner experienced reduced engine power, poor response, higher fuel consumption, and uneven idling, suspecting a fuel filter heater malfunction. Thanks! Do you recall if you received any error codes related to the fuel filter heater specifically, or were your error codes more generic?

I don't remember the exact error codes, but the workshop mentioned something about the fuel system. Best is probably to get it checked by them.

Thanks for the input. Had it inspected at a workshop and it was a defective fuel filter heater connection, as suspected. Repair was 95€, including parts and labor. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.

I also own a CR-V diesel. I had similar symptoms – rough idle, power loss, and eventually engine stalling. Have you checked the fuel filter itself? Might be worth a shot before digging deeper.
