Fuel Filter Heater Issue

Has anyone experienced fuel filter heater malfunction on a 2016 CR-V diesel? Getting reduced engine power, poor response, higher fuel consumption, and uneven idling. Error memory stores faults, suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. Mileage is around 204990 km.

The issue was attributed to a defective cable or plug connection. After inspection at a workshop, the problem was confirmed as a defective fuel filter heater connection, which was repaired for 95€.

I also own a CR-V diesel. I had similar symptoms – rough idle, power loss, and eventually engine stalling. Have you checked the fuel filter itself? Might be worth a shot before digging deeper.

I don't remember the exact error codes, but the workshop mentioned something about the fuel system. Best is probably to get it checked by them.

Thanks for the input. Had it inspected at a workshop and it was a defective fuel filter heater connection, as suspected. Repair was 95€, including parts and labor. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
