Fuel Flap Issue

Hey, my 2018 Lexus GS with a gasoline engine has a weird issue. The fuel flap won't open. I get an error message, and it seems like some other car functions are also affected. Mileage is at 42181 km. Anyone seen this before?

A 2018 Lexus GS owner experienced an issue where the fuel flap wouldn't open, accompanied by an error message and other affected car functions. A similar case suggested the electric actuator might be the cause. Upon visiting a workshop, it was confirmed that the release mechanism was faulty, and the repair cost was 210€.

How did you figure out it was the actuator?

The error memory pointed to it. Given the symptoms, I'd suggest visiting a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop, and it was indeed the release mechanism. Repair came out to 210€. Appreciate the help!
