Fuga Alarm System Malfunction

Experiencing an issue with my 2020 Nissan Fuga Hybrid anti-theft alarm system. The error memory indicates a fault, and the alarm system is completely non-functional. I've checked battery voltage, loose connections, but no luck. Could this be a coding issue?

A malfunctioning alarm system in a modern vehicle can be perplexing. Are the indicators flashing erratically, even when the alarm isn't sounding? The Fuga's system is sophisticated; are you certain that all doors, the hood, and the trunk are properly closed and that all alarm sensors work as expected?

Yes, the indicators flash intermittently, almost as if the system is trying to activate the optical locking feature constantly. If the system is coded to activate optical locking, could this be the issue? Can I diagnose this without specialized equipment?

The intermittent flashing suggests the alarm system is trying to activate the optical locking feature, and it's plausible that this is the root cause, especially given the error code. However, without proper diagnostic tools, it is difficult to confirm. I advise consulting a qualified technician to avoid further complications. The error memory should provide additional clues.

I took the vehicle to a workshop, and it turned out the alarm system was misconfigured, causing it to attempt optical locking constantly. A simple reprogramming, costing 45€, resolved the issue. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
