Fuga hybrid high voltage system error

My 2019 Nissan Fuga hybrid is throwing a high-voltage system error. I'm getting an error stored in the memory, the engine shuts off sometimes, and power is reduced. Mileage is 206283 km. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. Has anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my 2017 Lexus. 'Check Hybrid System' warning, sudden power loss. It was really unnerving. Did you notice any unusual battery drain or any other electrical oddities before the error popped up? Maybe something drawing power when the car is off?

Battery drain could be it. Did you do anything specific to confirm the parasitic draw, or did you just take it in?

Honestly, I'm not equipped to diagnose that stuff myself. I took it straight to a workshop I trust. They ran a full diagnostic and traced it to a faulty component that was keeping the system awake, even when the car was off. They ended up replacing it. I'd recommend getting yours checked out properly.

Yep, dropping it off tomorrow. Turns out the hybrid battery was shot, causing all sorts of system malfunctions. I was quoted 290€ for a replacement and install. Thanks for the input.
