Fuga Hybrid Stalling and Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Fuga Hybrid with 225,311 km is experiencing increased fuel consumption, power loss, stalling when idling, and smoke during acceleration. The suspected cause is an issue with the fuel injection system. It is recommended to check the cable and plug connections on the injection components, as a defective connection can lead to these problems. A workshop inspection confirmed a defective plug connection, which was repaired.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'injection components', which specific areas are you referring to? I want to make sure I'm checking the right spots. Was the issue intermittent, or constant once it started?

On my car, the fault was indeed intermittent to begin with, becoming more constant over time. Given the symptoms, it is advisable to consult a workshop for a thorough inspection.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop as suggested. It turned out to be a defective plug connection, as you suspected. Repair cost me about 95€. Appreciate the help!

I had similar symptoms with my Fuga. Check the cable and plug connections on the injection components very carefully. Even if they look ok, a defective connection there can cause all sorts of problems.
