Fuga key battery low warning
Summary of the thread
The main issue is a 'key battery low' warning on the dash of a 2003 Nissan Fuga, leading to unreliable keyless access and an error stored. The likely cause is a drained key fob battery, which is common with use. The suggested solution is to replace the key fob battery, typically a CR2032 button cell, as a first step. If the problem persists, professional recalibration of the key may be necessary.

Thanks. I haven't replaced it yet. Is it a standard battery type, or a special one? And did replacing the battery fix everything with your Opel?

It's usually a CR2032 button cell battery, but check your manual or the battery in your key fob to be sure. For me, replacing the battery in the Opel key fob solved it temporarily, but the error came back. I went to a workshop, they recalibrated the key, and that fixed it. So, replacing the battery is a good first step, but you might need professional help later.

Understood. I'll try replacing the battery first. If it's still a problem, I'll book a workshop appointment. Thanks for sharing your experience and the advice!

I had a similar issue with my old 2012 Opel Astra. The 'key battery low' warning popped up, and the key fob became unresponsive. Have you tried replacing the battery in your key fob? It's a simple fix, and those batteries drain, especially with use.
