Fullback alternator issues
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Fiat Fullback with a diesel engine is experiencing issues likely related to a failing alternator. Symptoms include reduced engine power, a battery warning light, rough starts, flickering lights, and a full error memory. The problem is suspected to be a dead alternator, and it is advised to check the serpentine belt as well. Immediate attention from a workshop is recommended to prevent further complications.

Cheers for the quick reply! Yeah, the battery seems like it's constantly struggling. Takes ages to crank sometimes. Did yours give you similar grief before it packed in completely? How long did you have to deal with it before you got it sorted?

Yep, pretty much the same. Battery struggling, car wouldn't always start, the whole shebang. Honestly, I wouldn't mess about too much. Get it to a workshop ASAP, before you're properly stranded. Trust me, been there, bought the tow truck t-shirt!

Right you are. Booked it in for tomorrow. They're quoting around 960€ for an alternator replacement. Sounds about right? Anyway, thanks for confirming my suspicions, really appreciate it!

Sounds rough. I've got a Fullback too, and that sounds like what happened when my alternator went south. Check the serpentine belt's condition too, but those symptoms scream charging system failure. Was the battery low?
