Cheers for the quick reply! Yeah, I scanned it, and it's definitely pointing to something on the MOST bus, but it's not saying which unit is the culprit, just the general fault. Any clever ways to narrow it down without ripping the whole dash apart?

Without knowing the exact failing module, it’s tricky. The proper way to diagnose this is with dealer level diagnostic tools. These tools are capable of interrogating each module on the MOST bus to pinpoint the failing unit. Given the symptoms and the fault code, combined with your mileage, it's probably one of the head unit modules failing internally. Unfortunately, it sounds like a trip to the workshop is inevitable. These kind of defects cost around 1000€.

I was hoping to avoid the garage, but it sounds like you're right. I took it in. Turns out you nailed it – a faulty module on the MOST bus. Cost me a grand to fix, but at least I've got my tunes back! Appreciate the help!
