Fusion Climate Control Issue

My 2006 Ford Fusion diesel's climate control panel isn't working. There's an error code, weak heat, and the AC won't turn on. I checked the fuses, but they're fine. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Mondeo. Check the wiring harness and plug connections behind the climate control panel. It could just be a loose or corroded connector.

Where exactly are those wiring harness and plug connections? Are they easy to get to, or do I need to take apart the dashboard?

The connections were behind the climate control panel on mine, accessible after removing the panel. But with error codes, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop.

Took it to a local shop, and it was a bad cable or plug connection like you said. Cost 95€, but the climate control is working again now.
