No modifications that I know of were made to the car. This issue popped up out of nowhere. When your Fusion had this problem, what did you end up doing to fix it?

Given that no modifications were made, incorrect coding is a possibility. I would recommend having a professional mechanic check and recode the system using the appropriate diagnostic tools. I did that, and the problem was solved after they recoded the affected modules.

I took the Fusion to a workshop and they confirmed that the car's coding was indeed incorrect. They recoded it, and the error messages are gone. The whole thing cost me 360€ Appreciate the help!

I also drive a Ford Fusion diesel. I had similar symptoms not too long ago – malfunction indicator and errors in the system. If the diagnostic report points to incorrect coding, it would be interesting to know if there have been any modifications done that needed such changes.
