Fusion Hybrid Battery Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid was experiencing a weak engine on startup and flickering lights, leading to suspicion of a faulty battery sensor. Another individual shared a similar experience, suggesting the issue might be related to the voltage sensor affecting the car battery. Voltage sensor? Where is that located? How did you figure out it was the problem, and how did you rule out a bad car battery?

I'm not sure of the exact location. I took it to a workshop, and they ran diagnostics. They said it was the battery sensor. I recommend you do the same.

I took your advice and brought it in. It was a defective battery sensor, like you said. It cost 315€ to fix, but it's running smoothly now. Appreciate the help.

I had something similar happen with my Ford Fusion. I think the voltage sensor was causing issues with the car battery. Is your battery charge normal?
