Fusion Hybrid Electrical Problems

I'm having some weird electrical issues with my 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid. It's got about 82,610 km on the clock. Lately, I've been getting an error message and experiencing some general electrical malfunctions. The navigation system is completely unresponsive too. I ran a scan and it seems like the programming of the control unit might be implausible. Anyone else run into something similar? Could it be a software bug?

I understand you are experiencing some difficulties with the electrical systems in your Ford Fusion Hybrid. To better understand the situation, could you elaborate on the specific error message you are receiving? Also, have you noticed any other unusual behavior, such as flickering lights or issues with other electronic components?

Thanks for the quick reply! The error code is pretty generic, something like "Control Module Programming Error". As for other symptoms, yes, the interior lights sometimes flicker momentarily, and the radio occasionally cuts out for a split second. Is this pointing to a software malfunction? Is a software reset or recalibration possible?

Thank you for providing the additional details. The flickering lights and radio issues, in conjunction with the error code, do suggest a possible software-related problem within the vehicle's control unit. While a software reset or recalibration might resolve the issue, it would be prudent to consult with a qualified technician at a reputable service center. They possess the diagnostic tools and expertise to accurately assess the situation and perform the necessary software reprogramming. It could save you money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the dealer, and they confirmed it was a software issue. They performed a software recalibration, and that seems to have fixed everything. The total cost was around 240€. Appreciate the help!
