Fusion Hybrid Low Heating Output
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid is experiencing low heating output, with an error code suggesting an issue with the water valve. The engine temperature is normal, indicating the problem is isolated to the heating system. Possible causes include a faulty water valve or a bad cable or plug connection. Solutions involve checking the coolant level, inspecting the valve connection for looseness or corrosion, and potentially replacing the water valve, with professional assistance recommended if needed.

The engine temperature seems normal. I'm more concerned about the insufficient heat inside. The error code also points to the water valve. Can I check the valve connection?

Yeah, that sounds like what happened to mine. The connection might be loose or corroded. You can check it, but it's a pain to get to. If you're not comfortable, take it to a workshop. My repair cost was about 95€.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice. I'll check the connection, but it seems like a workshop visit is needed to replace the water valve. I'll keep the 95€ repair cost in mind.

I had a similar issue with my Fusion. First, check the engine coolant level. If that's good, it's probably the water valve. Is the engine overheating, or just the heat not working well?
