Fusion Hybrid transmission issues

My 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid (131977 km) is showing some worrying signs. The check engine and transmission indicator lights are on. I'm experiencing unclean gear shifts, slippage, and grinding noises. Error memory points to a defective torque converter lock-up clutch. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I have a Fusion too. Experienced similar shifting issues and lights. Was it the auto transmission?

Yes, auto transmission converter was the culprit. A costly fix, sadly. I'd advise getting it checked by a workshop ASAP.
