Thanks so much for sharing your experience! That's really helpful info. Do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the repair? Also, just curious have you had any issues with the washer system since they fixed it?

Hey again! Actually, I have good news to share after seeing my mechanic it turned out it was just the washer fluid level that was too low in my QX70! Much simpler than my initial pump problem suspicion. Only cost me 25€ to fix. Since topping up the washer fluid, everything's been working perfectly fine both the headlight washers and regular windscreen washers. Feels a bit silly now that it was such a basic issue, but better safe than sorry, right? So yeah, definitely worth checking the simple stuff first. My washer system's been running smoothly since that top-up, no issues whatsoever. Just needed that washer fluid! Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one. Hope your issue turns out to be something equally straightforward!

Oh I feel so relieved now! Just got back from the mechanic and you won't believe it it was exactly the same situation as yours. Just needed washer fluid! Went to this new place I found, seemed pretty honest. Guy didn't even charge me for checking it out, just for the fluid which was about 20 bucks. Tested it right there in the shop and everything's working perfectly now. Guess I was getting worried over nothing, but after those bad experiences with mechanics before, you can't blame me for being cautious. Thanks again for your help saved me from stressing out too much about it. Sometimes it really is just the simple stuff! Time to go wash those headlights properly now!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my 2013 Infiniti QX70 Diesel last summer. Initially thought it was just low washer fluid too, but turned out the washer pump had failed. My headlight washers weren't working at all, just like yours. Took it to my regular garage and they found that debris had gotten into the pump system, causing it to jam. They had to clean out the whole system and replace the pump. Wasn't a major repair, took them about 2 hours to sort everything. While they were at it, they also cleaned the washer jets as they were partially blocked. Just a heads up before you take it in, check your washer fluid level first. If it's full and the washers still don't work, it's likely the pump. Also worth checking if your regular windscreen washers are working if they're fine but just the headlight washers aren't, could be a separate issue with the headlight washer system. Not a serious problem overall, just annoying to deal with. Hope this helps!
