G Klasse air suspension problems

G Klasse pneumatic suspension issues Car wont lift I have a 2002 G Klasse with a gasoline engine and 207050 km on it The car wont lift leans to one side and the ride is super bumpy The speedometer also displays an error and theres a fault stored I suspect its a faulty air suspension bellows valve on the air spring causing an air leak Has anyone else experienced this with their ride height control

Oh dear that sounds familiar I had a similar issue with my G Klasse If it is the valve its a common problem with the pneumatic suspension The shock absorber wont work as intended Is the leaning consistently on one side When the air spring goes the ride height is completely off

Yes the leaning is consistent on one side So when you say similar issue was it definitely the air suspension bellows valve that was defective Did you try to fix it yourself or did you take it to a workshop

Confirmed Exact same symptoms especially the constant leaning I wouldnt attempt a DIY fix with the air leak and the air spring involved its quite a specialized system Best to get it checked by a workshop Safety first

Thanks for confirming I appreciate the advice I took it to a workshop and you were spot on faulty air suspension bellows valve Repair cost me 590€ At least its sorted now
