Thanks for sharing your experience! That's really helpful sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with right now. Been worried it might be the injectors too. Quick question do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the whole repair? Also, has everything been running smoothly since then, or have you noticed any other issues pop up?

Hey again! Yeah, no problem at all! Just to put your mind at ease since getting the injectors fixed, my Q50 has been running like a dream. Honestly, it's like having a new car! The total bill came to 515€ for replacing the defective injectors, and while it wasn't cheap, it was totally worth it. Haven't had a single issue since the repair no more shaking, no power loss, and my fuel economy is back to normal. It's been about 8 months now, and the car's still running super smooth. The rough engine running completely disappeared after they fixed those faulty injectors. Trust me, once you get it sorted, you'll notice the difference immediately. My mechanic said catching it when I did probably saved me from more expensive problems down the road. If you need any more details about the repair or anything else, just let me know!

Thanks so much for all the info! I actually took your advice and finally got my car checked out yesterday. You were spot on it was indeed the fuel injectors! Two of them were shot, just like in your case. My bill came to about 490€ for the whole job. The mechanic I found was actually great really took the time to explain everything and show me the old injectors. They completed the work in about a day and a half. Just picked up the car this morning and wow, what a difference! The engine's running smooth as silk now, no more shaking or weird smells. Even the check engine light is finally off. Feels like I'm driving a completely different car! Really appreciate you sharing your experience it gave me the push I needed to get this sorted before it turned into something worse. Thanks again for all your help!

Hey there, I had very similar issues with my 2015 Infiniti Q50 last summer. The symptoms you're describing match exactly what I experienced rough idle, power loss, and terrible fuel economy. After taking it to my trusted mechanic, it turned out to be defective fuel injectors on cylinders 2 and 4. The repair job wasn't quick took them about two days because they had to remove quite a bit to access the injectors properly. They also had to clean the fuel system thoroughly because the bad injectors had left some deposits. It was definitely a serious issue that needed immediate attention to prevent further engine damage. The car runs perfectly now smooth idle, proper power delivery, and back to normal fuel consumption. If you're in this situation, don't wait too long to get it checked out. Faulty injectors can cause more problems if left unaddressed. Good luck with your G!
