Interesting, thanks for the reply! When you say "air supply line", do you remember if it was a specific vacuum hose, or part of the PCV system? I'm just trying to get a better idea of what to look for before I start tearing things apart.

In response to your query, I am unfortunately unable to furnish precise technical specifications concerning the components in question. I deferred entirely to the expertise of the workshop personnel in resolving the matter. Given the potential complexity and interrelation of automotive systems, it may be prudent to seek counsel from qualified professionals.

Thanks! I appreciate the suggestion to just take it in. Turns out you were right – it was a defective hose causing a vacuum leak and triggering the check engine light. Replaced the hose and the light is gone! Cost me about 175€, but well worth it to have it sorted. Cheers!

I see you are experiencing difficulties with your Ford Galaxy. I encountered a comparable situation, characterized by analogous symptoms, although I did not perform any diagnostics myself. Upon examination by a certified automotive technician, it was determined that the underlying issue pertained to a compromised air supply line. Perhaps this information may prove useful in your diagnostic endeavors.
