Galaxy Check Engine Light and Power Loss

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my 2015 Ford Galaxy, diesel engine. It's done about 37000 km. Recently, the check engine light comes on, fuel consumption is higher, and there's a definite reduction in engine power. I've checked the usual things, but nothing obvious stands out. Could it be something like the head gasket or maybe a fuel injector issue?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Galaxy. Have you noticed any unusual sounds or smells? Could be related to the turbocharger or even the intake manifold. How's the crankshaft?

Thanks for the reply! I haven't noticed any unusual sounds or smells, to be honest. The crankshaft seems fine at first glance, but I'm no expert. Could a turbocharger issue really cause all these problems at once?

Yes, it's possible. A turbo issue can cascade and cause other problems, triggering the check engine light and affecting fuel consumption. Since it's a consequential error it's hard to pinpoint. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local workshop, and as it turned out, the issue was indeed a consequential error. The repair cost was 0€, which is great news. I appreciate your help!
