Galaxy door lock issue

Sounds familiar. Had similar issues with my old Opel Astra a few years back. The automatic locks went haywire. Did you check the cable and plug connections? Might be a simple fix.

Yeah, I wiggled some wires, but no luck so far. Where exactly was the issue on your Astra? Was it obvious, or did you need to dig deep?

On the Astra it was corrosion in the door wiring loom where it enters the door. Pretty common apparently. But honestly, messing with car electrics can be a pain. I'd get it checked at a workshop if you're not confident.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Faulty door contact signal, cable or plug connection defective indeed. 95€ later and it's fixed. Appreciate the help!
