Galaxy driver seat massage not working

Hi, I have a 2002 Ford Galaxy with a diesel engine, and the massage function on the driver's seat has stopped working. The switch doesn't seem to do anything. I scanned for errors and there's a fault code related to the seat massage function. Anyone had this issue before? I suspect it's a cable or plug problem.

Hey there, I had something similar happen on my Galaxy. Drove me nuts! Was it completely dead or just intermittent?

It's completely dead. The massage setting cannot be switched on at all. The error is permanently stored in the error memory, which indicates a definite failure. Any thoughts?

Yep, sounds like what I had. Ended up being a dodgy connection. Honestly, tracing those wires is a pain. Best bet is to take it to a workshop. They'll sort it quicker than you messing about for hours. Cost me about 95€ to fix.

Thanks for the advice. I suspected as much. I'll book it in with a local garage and get them to check the wiring. Glad to know it's probably just a connection issue and not a completely new seat needed!
