Galaxy Error Messages System Failures

Experiencing sporadic error messages and system failures in my 2021 Ford Galaxy hybrid with 156750 km. Error lamps illuminate intermittently, and audio/navigation systems fail. Control units sometimes shut down. OBD-II scan shows stored errors. Could this be serious?

Hey, that sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my Galaxy. Were the errors kind of all over the place, like one day everything's fine and the next it's like a Christmas tree of warning lights? Did you also get a weird buzzing sound from the dashboard sometimes?

Yes, exactly! The errors do seem random, and a 'Christmas tree of warning lights' describes it perfectly. I haven't specifically noticed a buzzing sound, but with all the error alerts, it's possible I missed it. Did you manage to resolve the issue, and if so, what was the cause?

Yup, sounds like we had the same gremlins! For me, it turned out to be a defective cable connection to the control unit, specifically the BUS system connection. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it quickly. The repair cost me around 155€, so it wasn't too bad.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's incredibly helpful to know that someone else has encountered a similar problem and found a solution. I will take your advice and schedule an appointment with a trusted mechanic to have the cable connection to the BUS system inspected. Hopefully, the fix will be as straightforward as yours was. I appreciate your assistance!
