Galaxy exhaust flap issue

Experiencing an issue with the exhaust flaps on my 2022 Ford Galaxy hybrid (118k kilometers). Error stored, exhaust noise louder, and noisy engine after cold start. Suspect a defective exhaust flap. Anyone else experienced this, and what was your approach to fixing it?

Engine performance feels a bit sluggish at lower RPMs, and fuel consumption seems to have increased slightly, maybe 5-10%. Does this further point to the exhaust flaps?

Increased fuel consumption and sluggishness definitely add weight to the exhaust flap theory! I would highly recommend getting it checked out by a workshop; they'll be able to confirm the issue and give you a proper fix.

Took it to a workshop, and the exhaust flap was indeed defective. The repair, including parts and labor, came to around 190€. Now it runs perfectly, smooth and quiet!
