Galaxy uneven height and bumpy ride

I'm having a strange issue with my 2009 Ford Galaxy, gasoline engine. It has about 151476 km on it. I'm getting a warning light, and it feels like the low beams are shining at a weird angle. The ride feels really bumpy, and the car seems to be sitting unevenly. I had it scanned, and an error related to height control was stored. Could a defective control rod on the sensor cause all of these problems?

I also drive a Ford Galaxy and experienced something quite similar. Is your car equipped with air suspension?

Yes, it does have air suspension. Did you experience the same symptoms with the uneven height and bumpy ride? Was it also due to a faulty sensor?

Indeed. The symptoms were very alike. To be honest, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They will be able to determine the exact cause and repair it properly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right. It turned out to be a defective control rod on the leveling sensor, just as I suspected. Repair cost was around 110€. Everything seems to be working fine now.
