Galloper Electrical Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Hyundai Galloper with electrical issues, including sporadic errors and unresponsive systems, was discussed. The problem was suspected to be related to the BUS system, possibly due to a defective cable connection to the control unit. The suggested solution was to check and secure the cable connections, which was confirmed as the cause and resolved at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't checked the cable connections yet, but that's a good point. Is there a specific area I should be looking at, or any particular way to test the connections to the BUS system control unit?

Given the age of your Galloper, the cable connection to the control unit is the most probable cause. A defective connection to the BUS system can indeed cause these issues. To check, ensure the connector is clean and securely attached. If unsure, it's best to take it to a workshop.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out it was indeed a defective cable connection to the control unit's BUS system. Repair cost me 155€ Appreciate the help!

It sounds like you might have a BUS system issue. The symptoms you describe – sporadic errors, system failures, and unresponsive modules – often point to a compromised communication network. Think of it like a loose wire in a Christmas light string; one goes out, and the rest can flicker or fail. Have you checked the cable connections to the control unit?
