Getz Ignition Error

Hey, hoping someone can help. I've got a 2003 Hyundai Getz, gasoline engine, and it's got me pulling my hair out. Mileage is around 110k kilometers. The car just won't start! Diagnostics show 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error. I've checked the obvious stuff, battery seems fine, but I'm stumped. Thinking it might be a circuit break or power supply issue. Anyone experienced this before?

Summary of the thread

A 2003 Hyundai Getz with approximately 110,000 kilometers is experiencing a 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error, preventing the car from starting. The issue may be related to a circuit break or power supply problem, possibly due to corroded connections around the ignition system or battery terminals. Checking cable and plug connections, especially around the positive terminal, is suggested. If the problem persists, taking the car to a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Getz a while back. Check the cable and plug connections around the ignition system and the battery terminal - particularly the positive terminal. I'd focus on any voltage drop you can find there. Was the error always present, or did it appear after some other work on the car?

Thanks for the tip! The error popped up out of nowhere, actually. No work done recently. When you had the issue, did you notice anything else weird, or was it just a straight-up 'no start' situation?

Yeah, mine was just dead. Turned out to be a corroded connection. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit, but then just took it to the shop. They sorted it out quickly. If you're not comfortable digging too deep, maybe a workshop is the way to go?

Appreciate the input! Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop. At least I have some idea of what to tell them now. The error showed cost of 95€, I'm going to get it checked, thanks again!
