Getz rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Hyundai Getz with 91113 km developed a fault where the check engine light illuminated, and the engine ran rough, especially at idle, sometimes stalling and jerking during acceleration. The suspected cause was a faulty fuel pressure sensor or a possible issue with the cable or plug connection. After consulting with others who experienced similar issues, the owner confirmed the problem was indeed a defective fuel pressure sensor, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

You had the stalling and rough idle too? Did you ever get to the bottom of it? Any error codes?

Yes, the stalling and rough idle were present. I'm no expert, but my gut feeling is that you should check the sensor and go to the workshop.

Thanks for the confirmation. I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on. Defective fuel pressure sensor. Cable and plug looked fine, so we replaced the sensor. Total cost 95€. Runs like a dream now.

I had similar symptoms in my Getz. The check engine light was on, the engine stalled, and the fuel economy tanked. Have you checked the fuel injector?
