Getz Seat Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Hyundai Getz has a malfunctioning seat heater on the driver's side, while the passenger side functions correctly. The diagnostic tool indicates an error code related to the seat heater. The issue is likely due to a faulty heating element in the seat. It is suggested to have the heating mat professionally inspected and replaced, as attempting to fix it personally could risk further damage.

Yeah, checked the fuse – it's fine. And it's just the driver's seat that's not working. Passenger side is toasty as ever. Anything else I should look at before tearing the seat apart?

Okay, if the fuse is good and it's only one seat, it's almost certainly the heating element in the seat itself. I tried messing with mine, but honestly, it's a pain to get to and you risk damaging the seat cushion. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said the heating mat was definitely kaput.

Cheers for the advice! Sounds like I'm better off just biting the bullet and getting it sorted professionally. Got a quote for 390€, ouch! But at least I know what's up.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Getz too, and had a similar problem last winter. Did you check the fuse for the seat heater? Also, is it just the driver's side, or both seats?
