Getz Water Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Hyundai Getz diesel is experiencing a check engine light and rough engine performance, with diagnostics indicating a water sensor malfunction. Initial checks of wiring and connections around the sensor did not resolve the issue. A faulty connector was identified as the cause, and replacing it at a garage resolved the problem.

Cheers! Was it obvious when you found it, or did you need to do some serious digging? I've given the plug a wiggle and a clean, but still no dice. Any specific spots I should be checking?

You are spot on. It was the plug connection. I suggest visiting the workshop.

Top advice! Took it to the local garage, and you nailed it – dodgy connection. New connector and a clean bill of health for 95€. Thanks for the heads-up!

I had something similar with my Getz. If I remember correctly it was down to a faulty connector.
