Gienia AC Not Working
Summary of the thread
The A/C system in a 2016 Honda Gienia stopped working, failing to cool or switch on. An OBD2 scanner indicated an error, leading to speculation that undervoltage might be the cause. Suggestions included checking the refrigerant level and the A/C compressor relay switch. Ultimately, a mechanic confirmed the issue was related to undervoltage, and after resolving the electrical problem, the A/C was restored to working order.

Thanks. Could you give me more details about the relay switch? Where is it, and how do I check it?

Honestly, I'm not sure exactly where it is, but it's usually in the engine compartment fuse box. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it checked. They'll diagnose it quickly.

I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local mechanic, and you were right; it was related to undervoltage. They sorted out the electrical issue, and the A/C is now working. The repair cost me 240€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Hey, I had something similar happen in my Gienia. A/C just quit. Have you checked the refrigerant level or the A/C compressor relay switch? It might be a simple fix.
