Gienia air suspension failure
Summary of the thread
The 2016 Honda Gienia is experiencing air suspension failure, characterized by the vehicle not lifting, leaning, error messages, and a bumpy ride. The suspected cause is a faulty air suspension bellows valve. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the air spring, which initially showed intermittent error messages before complete failure. It is advised to have the vehicle checked at a workshop to confirm and address the issue.

Thanks. I suspected the bellows valve, as that seems to be the weak point. When you say 'acting up', do you mean it completely failed, or was it a gradual decline? And did you get any error messages?

The error messages were intermittent at first, then constant. Eventually, the air spring gave way completely. With your symptoms, especially the vehicle not lifting, it sounds serious. I'd recommend a workshop check to confirm the faulty valve. Cost me around 590€ to fix.

Understood. Appreciate you sharing your experience; it confirms my suspicions. I'll take it to a workshop to have the bellows valve checked and replaced. Thanks again.

I have a Gienia too, and that sounds familiar. I didn't have all those symptoms at once, but the leaning and bumpy ride were there when one of my air springs started acting up. Did you check the shock absorbers?
