Gienia check engine light and manifold pressure
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda Gienia exhibited a constant check engine light, suspected to be related to the air valve and abnormal manifold pressure. A potential cause identified was a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve. After replacing the faulty hose, the issue was resolved.

Light's constant. Haven't seen any cracks, but I'll check again. I don't have an OBD reader to check error codes. If it's the hose, should I be seeing other symptoms?

A faulty hose could definitely cause those symptoms. Without the codes, it's hard to say for sure, but a vacuum leak impacting manifold pressure is plausible. Given that the light is constant, I would recommend you visit the workshop.

Cheers. It was the hose. Replaced it. Cost 175€. All good now.

Could be vacuum hoses causing idle problems. Is the check engine light constant or intermittent? Have you checked for any obvious cracks or leaks in the hoses? What are the exact error codes?
