Gienia Climate Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2017 Honda Gienia experienced a climate control failure, with the automatic temperature control being non-functional and an error stored, preventing the AC from switching on. The suspected cause was a faulty interior temperature sensor. A similar issue was resolved by checking and repairing the cable and plug connection to the sensor, which was confirmed by a mechanic, leading to a successful repair and restoration of the AC functionality.

Could you give me more detail on the location of that cable and plug connection? What diagnostic steps did you take to find the defective connection?

It was indeed the interior temp sensor's connection. I'd advise checking with a workshop; they'll pinpoint it quickly. I ended up needing a replacement.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a local mechanic. The diagnosis confirmed your suggestion: defective cable or plug connection. Repair cost was 95€. The AC is now working as expected.

Sounds familiar. I had similar climate control issues with my Gienia. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the sensor? That was my problem.
