Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda Gienia owner experienced issues with the oil level sensor, including error messages, a stored error code, and a flickering oil pressure light. Yeah, I was planning on digging around this weekend. To be clear, you are talking about the connector that goes directly into the sensor right? Is there anything specific I should look out for besides corrosion or obvious damage?

Yes, I am referring to the connector that goes directly to the sensor. It sounds like you're on the right track. Given all the symptoms you describe, and the potential for a faulty signal, it would be wise to have it inspected by a workshop. It might be worth doing that to avoid further damage to the engine. Especially with the oil pressure light coming on. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! Turns out the cable connecting to the oil level sensor was indeed defective, just like you thought. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted, but at least it's fixed now! Appreciate the help.

Oh my goodness, that sounds incredibly frustrating! Electrical gremlins can be so tricky to track down. Have you checked the wiring and the plug connection to the oil level sensor itself? It's sometimes the simplest things, like a loose or corroded connector. Where exactly is this sensor located on the engine?
