GLA Blower Motor and AUC Sensor Issue

My 2017 Mercedes GLA gasoline engine with 236033 km is having blower motor issues. Diagnostics point to an AUC sensor fault, possibly a defective cable or plug. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm estimating a repair cost around 95€, does that sound right?

I have a GLA. I had a similar issue where the climate control seemed completely dead. If the diagnostics are indeed pointing to the AUC sensor, I would suggest checking the wiring harness and the connector itself before replacing the sensor. It is akin to checking the pipes before assuming the faucet is broken. Is the diagnostic code specific to the sensor, or is it a more general HVAC sensor fault?

The diagnostic code specifically mentions the AUC sensor. I've inspected the wiring as best I can without dismantling half the dashboard, and nothing immediately jumps out. Was your diagnostic code also specific to the AUC sensor, or something more generic, like an air conditioning sensor fault?

In my case, the initial diagnostic was somewhat vague, pointing towards a general cabin air sensor malfunction. However, further investigation by a technician revealed it to be a faulty connection at the AUC sensor. Given the specific code you are seeing and your visual inspection yielding no results, I would suggest a visit to a workshop for a more thorough diagnosis and repair. It is often more efficient than chasing ghosts yourself.

Thank you for the insight. It appears a trip to the workshop is indeed in order. Your experience confirms my suspicion that the issue lies within the sensor circuit. I will post the final resolution here. Appreciate the assistance.
