Has anyone experienced intake manifold flap control issues on their 2014 Mercedes GLA diesel? I'm getting reduced engine power, rough running, jerking when accelerating, and a loud hissing noise when accelerating. Fuel consumption is also up. I suspect it's the intake manifold flap control switch. The car has high mileage. What are your thoughts?

I had similar symptoms on my GLA. It was diagnosed as a faulty intake system. Loss of power and engine misfire were noticeable. Have you checked for air intake leaks?

Thanks for the input. Where exactly did you find your air intake leak? Was it throwing any specific codes?

I didn't locate the leak myself. I took it to a shop. They confirmed it was the intake manifold control. It cost around 465€ to fix. I'd suggest getting a professional diagnosis to be sure.
