Thanks. What do you mean by 'carefully'? Which connections should I check, and what should I look for? Is there a test to confirm a bad connection?

Make sure the connections are clean and tight. Corrosion stops current flow. If it still happens, get professional diagnostics.

You were right! It was a bad connection on the battery terminals. I cleaned them and tightened everything, and the car started. The garage charged me 155€ for the cleaning, which seems fair. Thanks for your help!

I had a similar problem with my GLA. Check your battery cable connections carefully. A bad connection can cause ECU issues.
