Thanks for the input. Where is the fluid level sensor connector located? Is it easy to get to, or do I need to remove parts?

On my car, the connector was accessible from under the wheel arch, near the washer fluid reservoir. You might need to partially remove the wheel arch liner for better access, but it's fairly straightforward. If you're not comfortable doing that, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. It might save you some trouble and potential damage.

I appreciate the advice. I inspected the connector, and it looked fine. I took it to a workshop. The issue was a faulty fluid level sensor. The replacement was 25€. The windshield cleaning system is now working.

I had a similar problem with my GLA. It's probably a sensor issue or the washer motor. Check the fluid level sensor connector for corrosion. Sometimes, the sensor malfunctions even if the reservoir seems full. If that's okay, the washer motor might be faulty. It might be worth checking the fuse box too. Did you notice any unusual noises from the washer motor before it stopped?
