GLC fuel filler flap malfunction

Whoa sounds familiar I had something very similar happen on my GLC Fuel filler door wouldn't budge First thing did you check the fuse box There's a fuse specifically for the fuel filler It might be a simple fix before diving into the electric actuator or release mechanism Also try pressing the fuel door while using the key fob release Sometimes it just gets stuck

I don't recall the exact fuse number offhand sorry but the diagram should be inside the fuse box cover And yes it did throw some other weird errors like the parking sensor acting up intermittently Honestly after fiddling with it I just took it to the shop They said it was a faulty electric actuator Cost me around 200€ to fix parts and labor
