Exhaust leak, huh? Where exactly should I be looking for that? Is it something I can easily spot, or does it require special equipment to find?

Honestly, unless you're really familiar with exhaust systems, it's tough to pinpoint the exact location without proper tools. It's best to take it to a workshop. They can do a smoke test and find the leak quickly. I went that route, and it turned out to be a cracked exhaust manifold.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on it was a leak in the exhaust system. Repair cost me 265€. Runs like new now!

I had similar symptoms in my GLC a jerking on acceleration and a rough idle. Have you checked for any exhaust leaks? It could be something like that, affecting the engine's ability to breathe properly. It's like trying to run with a restricted airway.
