I didn't think about the hybrid components. Where should I look for those? How would I know if the engine is overheating besides the warning light? The temperature gauge isn't going into the red.

Without seeing it, it's hard to say where to look on your GLE. If you're not familiar with hybrid systems, it's best to have a mechanic look. Engine overheating can cause serious damage quickly. The error code likely points to a defective cable or plug connection and the repair cost is estimated around 95€. Take it to a trusted workshop.

I took it to the shop, and you were right. It was a faulty connection as the error code suggested. The total cost was 95€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Low coolant on a hybrid can be tricky. I had a similar issue on my older car. Have you checked for coolant leaks near the hybrid components, not just the engine? Sometimes the electric motor cooling system can leak. Also, are you sure the engine isn't overheating?
