GLE Diesel fuel sensor issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2018 Mercedes GLE diesel. The check engine light is on, and sometimes the engine stalls when idling. I scanned it and got an error related to the fuel level sensor. Has anyone experienced something similar? Maybe a faulty sensor?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my GLE, though I didn't check any fuses. The car dashboard was showing all sorts of crazy fuel levels, and the check engine light was on too. Is the fuel sensor itself potentially the culprit? I'd want to know.

Interesting. So, what exactly did you do to fix it? Did you replace the fuel sensor in the fuel tank? Was it an easy fix, or did you need special tools? Also, did you experience the engine stalling?

Okay, so I didn't actually do the repair myself. I took it straight to a workshop because I didn't want to mess with the fuel system. They confirmed it was a faulty sensor and replaced it. I didn't have the engine stalling issue, but I definitely think you should get it checked out professionally. It could prevent more serious problems down the road.

Thanks for the advice! I checked the error memory again, and decided to go to the workshop. Turns out there was a defective fuse and it was causing the problem with the fuel sensor. New fuse, and everything is working fine. Total cost was 52€ I appreciate the help!
