Thanks for the quick reply Fuel pressure regulator, huh I'm not super familiar with that Is that something that could have been damaged when the fuel filter was changed And where is the fuel pressure regulator located, is it easy to get to The error code did mention something about 'fuel pressure'

It is plausible the fuel pressure regulator was affected during the fuel filter replacement, perhaps dislodged or contaminated. While access varies, it's often found on the fuel rail. The fuel rail distributes fuel to the injectors. It might be best to have a workshop inspect it, especially if you're seeing a consistent pressure drop in the fuel system. I recommend taking it to the shop. They should be able to diagnose it quickly and ensure no further damage occurs.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice I took it to a workshop today and you were right Apparently, there was an error entry after changing the fuel filter. They replaced the fuel pressure regulator, and everything seems to be running smoothly now. The repair cost was 45€ Appreciate the help

A rough idle, reduced engine power, and the check engine light illuminating could suggest a few things, especially after a fuel filter change. It's possible there's an issue with the fuel rail pressure. A pressure sensor could be faulty, or there might be a pressure drop somewhere in the fuel system. Has the error code been read? If the code indicates an issue with the fuel pressure regulator, that could certainly be the source. I've experienced similar issues on my GLE, and it turned out to be a faulty fuel pressure regulator after a fuel filter change. What does the error say?
