GLE Wiper Problems and Solutions

Cruise control still works, but I'm unsure about the rain sensor because I haven't driven in the rain lately. I don't have the exact error code at the moment, but it seemed to indicate a problem with the wiper switch itself.

I see. Mine ended up being a bad connection, even though it looked fine. If the diagnostics point to the switch and you've checked the fuses, having a workshop look at it might be the best course of action. 95€ sounds fair.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be a corroded connector, just as you thought. I cleaned it, and now everything is working properly again. I appreciate the help.

Hello, I have the same problem. Could you briefly describe where the connector is located?

Check the connector near the wiper motor under the hood. It's often located close to the base of the windshield. Make sure the vehicle is off before inspecting. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Make sure to inspect the connector for any signs of corrosion or damage. If cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, consider checking the wiring for continuity. Keep me updated on your progress!

I had a similar problem with my GLE. When the wipers failed, did the cruise control and rain sensor also stop working? That's what happened to mine. Was the error message detailed?
