GLK engine issues and rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mercedes GLK with a gasoline engine is experiencing a drop in power, a check engine light, rough running, jerking during acceleration, and occasional stalling. The suspected cause is a mixture issue, potentially due to a bad injection valve or injector, as the air-fuel ratio seems off. After checking the oxygen sensor and throttle body with no issues found, it was suggested to inspect the intake manifold for leaks. Ultimately, a workshop identified a defective fuel injector as the cause, which was then repaired.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me what specific areas of the intake manifold I should check for leaks? I want to inspect it carefully.

The shop found the problem for me. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop, since it could be anything. If it is the injector, it could cost around 515€ to fix.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop I trust, and it was a defective fuel injector causing the rich mixture. It's fixed now.

I had a similar problem with my GLK. Same symptoms. It turned out a rich mixture was the cause.
