GLK gasoline engine rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Mercedes GLK with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The initial suspicion is a bad fuel pressure sensor, but a faulty cable or plug connection is also considered a potential cause. After checking, it was confirmed that a bad plug connection to the fuel pressure sensor was the issue, which was resolved at a cost of 95€.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me how to properly check the wiring harness and connector? I'm not really sure how to do that.

I'm not an expert either. Check for any visible damage to the wires, like fraying or cracking. The connector should be clean and secure. It's probably not that simple, but it's worth a try. If it all looks good, a shop might be best. They’ll have the tools to diagnose the fuel system right.

I appreciate the advice. It was a bad plug connection to the fuel pressure sensor, like I thought. It cost 95€ to fix. Thanks again for the help.

Check engine light and stalling does sound like fuel delivery. A bad fuel pressure sensor could be it, but before you replace it, have you checked the wiring harness and connector to the sensor? Maybe there's corrosion or a loose connection. What trouble codes are you seeing?
