GLK Headlight Washer System Problem

That's a good idea, I'll check for leaks. But if it was a leak, shouldn't the pump still make noise? I don't hear anything when I try to activate either washer. That's why I think it's electrical. Does your car have LED lights?

You're right, no pump noise suggests electrical. Mine was making noise, but not much fluid was coming out. Since you have LEDs and no pump sound, it's likely more than a simple hose leak. A defective relay or wiring harness is possible. I took mine to a workshop.

Thanks, that's helpful. I checked the hose and found no leaks. I don't have the tools or time for electrical work, so I'll take it to my mechanic. They estimated around 165€ for the repair, which sounds like the pump cable connection.

I had a similar issue on my GLK. Inspect the hose to the headlight washers. Leaks can develop, especially near the pump. This can affect the windshield washer, as they often share the reservoir and pump. The headlight washers only work with the headlights on, particularly with Xenon or LED lights. Do you see fluid on the ground after trying to use the washers?
